This post will be dedicated
to Wojciech Modest Amaro once again. But this time I will presente
some facts about his person, his life and career.
Amaro is, next to Kurt
Scheller, world-renowned polish chef and restaurateur. He was born 12
February in 1972 in Sosnowiec. He has graduated electronic technical
school. However, he went to Great Britain and got a job in a
restaurant. He practiced with chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Yannick
AllenAbout, Ferran AdriĆ . In 2008, awarded by the International
Academy of Culinary title "Chef de L'Avenir".
Then in 2011, he opened a
restaurant Atelier Amaro in Warsaw, who in 2013 as the first
restaurant in Poland, has been awarded a famous Michelin star. For
this moment, this is the only polish restaurant to boast such an
accomplishment. Amaro is more and more known in the world. He gets
numerous invitations from whole world.
He is the author of two
books: Nature and Polish cuisine Polish and
Cuisine twenty-first century, which in 2010 was awarded
the Grand Prix at the International Academy of Gastronomy in Paris.
I have both of them.
Ofcourse they are special and traditional, but many products are
almost unknown for me. However the beautiful edition of these books
(photography, styling, wheel, paper) compensates me this difficulty.
That's more album than a book from which I draw my daily inspiration.

little about Amaro's philosophy. Why he cooks, where he searches
ideas etc.
